We are legally required to verify that every customer is aged 18 or over before selling any vaping product. This policy explains why, and how we do it.

Why We Verify Age

Under the Nicotine Inhaling Products (Age of Sale and Proxy Purchasing) Regulations 2015, it is a criminal offence to sell any nicotine vaping product to anyone under the age of 18 in the UK. This applies to devices, e-liquids, pods, and refill cartridges, and covers online sales as well as in-store purchases. It is also an offence for an adult to buy a vape on behalf of someone under 18 (proxy purchasing).

Retailers who fail to verify age face fines of up to £2,500 per offence, enforced by Trading Standards across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

How We Verify Your Age

We use AgeChecked, an independent age verification provider, to confirm your age before your order is processed.

Here's how it works:

  1. At checkout: you'll confirm your date of birth as part of placing your order.

  2. Instant verification: AgeChecked cross-checks your details against independent data sources to confirm you are 18 or over, without needing to upload ID in most cases.

  3. If verification fails: you may be asked to submit a photo ID (passport, driving licence, or PASS-accredited ID card) for manual review before your order can be dispatched.

  4. At delivery: depending on the courier, ID may also be checked on delivery as an additional safeguard.

If You Can't Be Verified

If AgeChecked cannot confirm your age automatically, your order will be paused and you'll receive instructions on how to submit ID for manual verification. Orders that cannot be age-verified will be cancelled and refunded in full.

Age verification checks are handled directly by AgeChecked. We do not store the ID documents you submit; AgeChecked processes this data solely to confirm your eligibility to purchase age-restricted products, in line with UK data protection law.
